KIPP SoCal Public Schools is a nonprofit organization that operates 24 tuition-free, open-enrollment charter public schools, within 20 Local Education Agencies (LEA), educating more than 10,000 students and supporting 8,900 alumni to and through college and beyond.
GLO: LGBTQ+ Outreach Ministry

St. Monica Gay and Lesbian Outreach Ministry (GLO) is a fellowship where LGBTQ+ persons of faith are welcomed to explore their spirituality and share their experience, strength, and hope with one another. GLO was established in 1992 to provide a welcoming place for members of the LGBTQ+ Community at St. Monica. For over 25 years, the Ministry has provided outreach, acceptance, encouragement and fellowship to LGBTQ+ Catholics and their families.

Through faith development pillars, prayer, discernment, service, and parish connection are nurtured. Through supporting exceptional leaders, they strive to ensure equitable access to excellent public schools for all children.
The SOEAA Board consists of dedicated individuals, including SOE alumni and ex-officio members from the faculty and staff. With a strong emphasis on three core pillars, the board actively works towards building a vibrant community, promoting volunteer service, and facilitating professional development opportunities. Through their collective efforts, they strive to foster a sense of belonging, contribute to the greater good through service, and empower individuals to grow and excel in their respective fields.
